Anyways, life update! I graduated college in May with my Bachelors! Yay :) I also landed a teaching job and relocated for that job. So now I am official in the adult world. Life has been great but BUSY! I feel like busy is the word I use the most when describing how my life is going. It may be busy, but I am loving it. All that being said I am on the hunt to pursue all my hobbies and interests to even out all the school load I have. This blog is where I am going to be giving updates about the hobbies and interests. I am a BIG list maker and receive great pleasure from crossing things off my lists. So a list of some of the hobbies and interests I have are (but not limited too) crochet, cross-stitch, crafts, DIY, nails, and product reviews. Everything on this list I have some experience with so I am so excited to dive right back in. I already have a few reviews ready....and I'm PUMPED!
I want to share my history, thoughts, and dreams about each thing on my list, so first up, CROCHET.
I learned to crochet over a year ago and my past projects have included scarfs and blankets. I am in the middle of a more complex blanket for my boyfriend. I hope to learn more techniques and projects and share with all of you :)
Second on the list is CROSS-STITCH. I learned how to cross-stitch about year ago as well. I have completed many smaller projects but I am currently in the middle of a bigger project. My hopes are to eventually create my own patterns and maybe even sell them. Very ambitious, but I like to set high expectations.
Crafts and DIY I am going to bundle together. I like to craft and DIY as much as possible. The last DIY I did was lining drawers in a 3-drawer container for my classroom and spray painting wooden frames for wall decor for my new apartment.
Nails should need no explanation. I have shared my nail colors and designs before and hope to continue that. Also tie that into reviewing which is next on the list :)
Product reviews are something I have dipped my foot into a little bit but want to get back into and do it better this time. I am looking at product reviews I receive for free to test, products I buy, and some subscription boxes (which I have a few on the way). I am very interested and excited about subscription boxes and think they are a genius idea and I love that it has taken off!
Well I think thats all for now. Happy Labor Day! Company is arriving so it is time for me to go!
